【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesanempiricaltestprocedureforassessingtheresistanceofacoatingofpaint,varnishorrelatedproducttocrackingand/ordetachmentfromametalorplasticssubstratewhensubjectedtobendingroundacylindricalmandrelunderstandardconditions.Foramulti-coatsystem,eachcoatcanbetestedseparatelyorthecompletesystemcanbetested.Themethodspecifiedcanbecarriedout?eitherasa“pass/fail”test,bycarryingoutthetestwithasinglespecifiedsizeofmandrel,toassesscompliancewithaparticularrequirement;?orbyrepeatingtheprocedureusingsuccessivelysmallermandrelstodeterminethediameterofthefirstmandreloverwhichthecoatingcracksand/orbecomesdetachedfromthesubstrate.Twotypesofapparatusarespecified,type1beingappropriateforuseontestpanelsofthicknessupto0,3mm,andtype2foruseontestpanelsofthicknessupto1,0mm.Bothtypesofapparatushavebeenfoundtogivesimilarresultswiththesamecoating,butnormallyonlyonewillbeusedfortestingagivenproduct.

【摘要】:WARNINGProblemsconcerningprotectionofpersonnelagainstX-raysarenotcoveredbythisInternationalStandard.Forinformationonthisimportantaspect,referenceshouldbemadetocurrentinternationalandnationalstandards,andtolocalregulations,wheretheseexist.1ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesmethodsformeasuringthethicknessofmetalliccoatingsbytheuseofX-rayspectrometricmethods.2ThemeasuringmethodstowhichthisInternationalStandardappliesarefundamentallythosethatdeterminethemassperunitarea.Usingaknowledgeofthedensityofthecoatingmaterial,theresultsofmeasurementscanalsobeexpressedaslinearthicknessofthecoating.3Themeasuringmethodspermitsimultaneousmeasurementofcoatingsystemswithuptothreelayers,orsimultaneousmeasurementofthicknessandcompositionsoflayerswithuptothreecomponents.4ThepracticalmeasurementrangesofgivencoatingmaterialsarelargelydeterminedbytheenergyofthecharacteristicX-rayfluorescencetobeanalysedandbytheacceptablemeasurementuncertaintyandcandifferdependingupontheinstrumentsystemandoperatingprocedureused.
