【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesaninfraredabsorptionmethod,aftercombustioninaninductionfurnace,forthedeterminationofthetotalcarbonandsulfurcontentinsteelandiron.Themethodisapplicabletocarboncontentsofmassfractionbetween0,005%and4,3%andtosulfurcontentsofmassfractionbetween0,0005%and0,33%.Thismethodisintendedtobeusedinnormalproductionoperationsandisintendedtomeetallgenerallyaccepted,goodlaboratorypracticesofthetypeexpectedbyrecognizedlaboratoryaccreditationagencies.Itusescommerciallyavailableequipment,iscalibratedandcalibrationverifiedusingsteelandironcertifiedreferencematerials,anditsperformanceiscontrolledusingnormalstatisticalprocesscontrol(SPC)practices.Thismethodcanbeusedinthesingleelementmode,i.e.,determinationofcarbonandsulfurindependentlyorinthesimultaneousmode,i.e.,determinationofcarbonandsulfurconcurrently.
