【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusefulincharacterizingpitchesandasphaltsasoneelementinestablishinguniformityofshipmentsandsourcesofsupply.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofrelativedensitybywaterdisplacementofhardpitchesandasphaltswithsofteningpointsabove70x00B0;C.1.2Therelativedensityofhardpitchandasphaltshallbedetermined,wheneverpossible,onhomogeneousnaturalfragmentsfreeofcracks.Theuseofcastcubesisnotrecommendedduetothedifficultyofavoidingincorporationofairbubbles.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
